Asset Reliability Practitioner [L] for Reliability Managers
Description
The Asset Reliability Practitioner [L] “Program Leader” course is aimed at reliability program leaders and managers – people who head up a team of people on one or more sites and are responsible for the results of their subordinates. The course has less technical content than the ARP [E] - Reliability Engineer course with more emphasis on financial justification, human behaviour, people management.
Topics Include:
- Overview of the implementation strategy.
- Establishing the economic value that can be achieved.
- Developing the asset strategy.
- Understanding motivation, error and human psychology.
- Assessing workplace culture and change management.
- Leadership, buy-in and employee engagement.
- Discipline, control and standards in maintenance and operations.
- Caring for equipment and spares
- Acquiring for lowest life cycle costs and reliability
- Asset Health (CBM) monitoring and inspections
- Using analytics for decision-making, review and improvement
- Optimizing the program and improving the strategy

Prerequisites
Prior experience is not required for attending the training course or exam, however MIBoC ARP[L] certification requires:
1. Prerequisite of a minimum of 48 month’s work experience
2. Completing the whole course
3. Passing the exam with a minimum of 70%
