Description

The Asset Reliability Practitioner [A] “Reliability Advocate” course is intended as a multi-discipline course - for all Managers (Operations, Maintenance and Production), Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers, Condition Monitoring, Reliability Techs, Graduate Engineers and Maintenance personnel.
Reliability is everyone's responsibility and this course is designed as the foundation for plant-wide improvement initiatives.

Topics Include:

  • The Business case for improved reliability
  • How to eliminate the sources of systematic defects that cause unreliability
  • Why a PM and CM program does not fix reliability problems
  • How to gain and keep management support to resource reliability initiatives
  • Strategic maintenance work management as a foundation to reliability
  • The process of criticality analysis and optimising maintenance activities
  • Using data with reliability analysis tools to identify priorities
  • Condition Monitoring technologies and their application
  • The job roles and resources required to support a reliability program
  • How to break away from reactive maintenance and have time for proactive activity
  • Sustaining a long-term culture of reliability

The course is made up of 18 hours of short video recordings, presented by Jason Tranter, the Mobius CEO and founder. It is very comprehensive, with audio commentary, animated visual slides and a printed course manual for off-line study.
Students have a choice of 4 months or Life-Time on-line access and can watch the videos more than once. 
The course study guide is accessible on-line, but not downloadable. An optional printed course study guide is available, so students can follow along and study off-line. 
Each enrolment is for 1 person individually and is not transferable to another person.
The Exam cannot be taken until completion of the whole course.

ARP [A] enrolment cost per student:
4 months access fee is $2,500
Course fee includes a Printed Course Study Guide and free shipping to anywhere.
Optional Life-Time access fee upgrade from 4 months is: $750
On-line Exam and Certification: $460
All fees are plus 10% GST.

Note: The Invigilated Exam & Certification can be paid for when enrolling or after course completion.

Prerequisites

Certification requires:
1. Prerequisite of a minimum of 6 month’s work experience
2. Completing the whole course 
3. Passing the exam with a minimum of 70%
